只可惜选择大于努力，在一系列重大历史节点，何塞•拉萨罗选择终身效力的寰宇地概科都不幸落于科室争斗的下风。正如同再优秀的船长也无法驱使一艘沉船穿越风暴，天才如何塞•拉萨罗在空间站内也面临着前所未有的不公。怪只怪我们没有二道贩子的财力、政客的嘴皮子、生物学家的多种族拥趸，又或是占卜师的神眷。

It's a pity that choice far outweighs effort. Just as even the best captain can't drive a sinking ship through a storm, the genius Hosea Lazaro faces unprecedented injustice on the space station. It's all because we don't have the financial power of a scalper, the diplomatic capacity of a politician, the multiracial support of a biologist, or the divine favor of a fortune-teller.

All we have is an infinite yearning for the uncultivated lands within the cosmos and hands that dig deep into the earth.
